How to Make a Striped Umbrella – DIY Ideas

Umbrella is my best friend in every season. In rain or in sun rays I kept it with me. It always effects my outlook and I am very conscious about the design of my umbrella. I love my father’s old black umbrella. But it doesn’t match with my outfit. Then why not to give the umbrella a new look. Here is the best idea to make an old plain umbrella to a beautiful striped umbrella.

Stuff Required

• Plain Umbrella
• Ruler
• Paint Color
• Paint Brush

Step 1

Take a plain umbrella of any color. If you are bored of your old black umbrella give it a new look like i did and follow these simple steps.

Open the umbrella and place it on a clean place.

Step 2

With the help of ruler, mark equally on the top and ends of the umbrella. You can make the same design as shown in the figure. Otherwise you can also use your creativity.

I am using white paint on my black umbrella. You can use any color you want or in contrast to the color of umbrella. With the help of paint brush, paint on marks with free hand. Thickness of the brush depends upon the thickness of design you want.

Here is the new look of my old umbrella as striped umbrella. It looks really nice. You can also make an umbrella by yourself for an open air party. If stripes of striped umbrella matches with your dress it will look more beautiful.
